Nylon Spiral Hose Guard Product Description
Extend the life of your equipment and protect your hoses against wear and tear and accidental damage with the nylon spiral hose guard.
The spiral wrap is manufactured in our UK facility using nylon 12 polymer, which creates a highly durable outer guard that deflects abrasion and impact and is resistant to chemical corrosion, including petrol, oil and dilute acids.
The guard can be attached easily by wrapping the hose around it or threading it through.
The nylon hose guard tidies up and protects multiple hoses or electrical cables.

Application Uses
The nylon spiral-cut hose guard is the perfect solution for protecting hydraulic hoses and standard hoses. It is widely used with agricultural machinery.
Nylon spiral hose guards are designed to provide durable, flexible, and abrasion-resistant protection for hoses and tubing in various applications. Here are ten common uses for nylon spiral hose guards:
Hydraulic Hose Protection
In hydraulic systems, nylon spiral guards protect hoses from abrasion and wear caused by contact with other parts, extending hose service life.
Pneumatic Tubing Protection
Like hydraulic hoses, pneumatic tubing can benefit from nylon spiral guards, especially in environments where it is exposed to abrasion or impact.
Automotive Applications
In the automotive industry, nylon spiral hose guards protect hoses and wiring from abrasion and heat in engine compartments and under-chassis applications.
Construction Equipment
Heavy machinery and construction equipment use nylon spiral guards to protect hydraulic and pneumatic hoses from damage caused by debris, abrasion, and the harsh operating environment.
Agricultural Machinery Protection
Farm equipment, which often operates in abrasive environments (e.g., fields, soil), uses nylon guards to protect hydraulic hoses from wear and tear, prolonging their service life.
Marine Applications
In marine environments, nylon spiral hose guards protect hoses from saltwater corrosion, abrasion from sand and debris, and the mechanical wear associated with marine operations.
Chemical Processing Plants
Hoses used for chemical transfer can be protected against corrosion and mechanical wear by using nylon spiral guards.
Food and Beverage Industry
Nylon spiral guards protect hoses from abrasion and maintain cleanliness in food and beverage processing facilities, where hoses are frequently moved and may come into contact with hard surfaces.
Oil and Gas Industry
Hoses used in oil and gas exploration and production can be protected from abrasion, impact, and harsh environmental conditions with nylon spiral guards.
Mining Equipment
In mining operations, where hoses are exposed to extreme abrasion, impact, and harsh conditions, nylon spiral guards provide essential protection, extending hose service life.
Consequently, Nylon spiral hose guards are:
A cost-effective solution for protecting hoses and tubing across a wide range of industries.
Ensuring durability.
Reducing maintenance costs.
Minimising downtime due to hose failures.

The system's working pressures are determined from the short-term burst pressure calculated at 20°C, applying a 4:1 safety factor.
The maximum recommended continuous operating temperature is 70°C, with occasional, limited periods up to 120°C. Any temperature above 20°C will affect the quoted short-term burst pressure. The minimum operating temperature is -40°C.
