Regarded highly for its exceptional stability, mechanical strengths and resistance to chemical corrosion, nylon is considered to be one of the most versatile engineering materials.

This is why we use nylon 12 polymer to manufacture this tube. Heat and light stabilised to precise tolerances, it creates a flexible, lightweight and durable tube that possesses improved flow capabilities.

For use with higher temperatures and pressures, we can also manufacture semi-rigid nylon tube in all of the same sizes as our standard nylon tube.

Our nylon tube is available in a range of sizes. The standard coil length is 30 metres, although alternative coil lengths are available. This tube is available in natural, black, red, blue, green, yellow, orange, brown, grey and pink. Particularly popular within the pneumatics industry, our nylon tube is suitable for many additional purposes, such as pneumatic control systems, fuel lines, lubrication lines, food and beverage uses, brewing and production lines.

Technical Details

The working pressures of this tube are based on the short-term burst pressure calculated at 20°C using a 4:1 safety factor. Working and burst pressures of semi-rigid nylon is approximately 60% higher than for flexible nylon.

Maximum recommended continuous working temperature is 70°C, with occasional limited periods of up to 120°C. For elevated temperatures up to 110°C with intermittent use of temperatures up to 140°C, semi-rigid nylon should be used.

Any increases in temperature above 20°C will affect the short-term burst pressure quoted for this product. The minimum operating temperature is -40°C.
