  • What are the Benefits of Nylon Tube?
  • What are the Benefits of Nylon Tube?

Regarded as highly stable, strong, and corrosion-resistant, nylon is widely regarded as one of the most versatile engineering materials. Our nylon tubing is made of Nylon 12, a polymer. This is important because Nylon 12 offers key characteristics, such as good abrasion and heat resistance.

Regarded highly for its exceptional stability, mechanical strengths and resistance to chemical corrosion, nylon is considered one of the most versatile engineering materials.

We can print any text or logo on our flexible nylon tube.

Below, we will explore the key benefits of this type of tubing in more detail.

    Nylon 12 Polymer

We manufacture our nylon tubing from Nylon 12, a polymer. The fact that it is a polymer is important, as Nylon 12 offers key characteristics such as good resistance to abrasion, heat, and cold.

    Pneumatics industry

Nylon tube is widely used in the pneumatics industry for pneumatic piping. The tube's close tolerance makes it ideal for use with push-in and compression fittings. The nylon tube is also used for air brake systems on vehicles.

    Brewery and beverage applications

Nylon tube is widely used in the Brewery Dispense Industry for CO2 gas lines only.

Available in a range of colours

All our Nylon tubing comes in a wide range of colours for easy identification, and we can custom-print your messaging on any colour.

These colours include: natural, black, red, blue, green, yellow, orange, brown, grey and pink.

Suitable for use with a wide range of fittings

Our nylon tubing is compatible with a wide range of fittings, making it easy to install and secure for your bespoke application.

    High temperature resistance

Our nylon tubing maintains its integrity with occasional use up to 120°C and 140°C. We manufacture this tubing suitable for many high-heat applications.

    Low temperature resistance

To complement its high-temperature resistance, Nylon tubing can also be used in environments down to -40°C, making it suitable for many applications.

    High-pressure resistance

Our nylon tuning has excellent pressure resistance; however, we can manufacture it in flexible and semi-rigid materials to meet your bespoke needs. Please refer to our WP/BP charts (specification tab).

    High resistance to abrasion

This tubing has high abrasion resistance, making it ideal for applications that require transporting liquids or gases. This ability will help prevent accidental damage to the tubing that could cause leaks or spills.

    Need more information?

If you require more information about how Nylon tubing can benefit you, please do not hesitate to contact us; we will be happy to help.

Need your Nylon tubing custom-made for your application?

As we manufacture this directly in the UK, we can tailor it to your exact requirements.
