Celebrating a Quarter of a Century!

We celebrated a very auspicious occasion on Saturday 13th November to mark twenty five years of successful trading at Abbey Extrusions.
The entire workforce was invited to the event which was held at the Owlerton Stadium, Sheffield. The workforce enjoyed a special evening reminiscing, sharing funny stories and the many changes at Abbey Extrusions over the years – all amongst intervals from drinking, eating and cheering on the dogs!



Everyone rendezvoused in Ashby before travelling to the venue in time to enjoy the many races of the night. The most exciting race was the Abbey Extrusions Anniversary Stakes which attracted everyone’s attention.
One of the runners in our sponsored race was called Rich & Rare and as our Production Director Richard Millington is known as Rich, we all had to have a flutter! Unfortunately no one got rich from this three legged dog and the worthy winner was Russanda Royale who is pictured in the group photo.

Bryan Cowan, Managing Director has further marked the occasion by presenting his colleagues with an engraved commemorative tankard and a tee-shirt.

This truly memorable night out was further improved as we enjoyed the night from the Abbey Extrusion box where we all toasted the future and another prosperous twenty five years!
